This image is pretty old but I was flipping through WoW Insider and came across it again. It’s basically what you see sometimes when a World of Warcraft server crashes. (Click the image for a larger version.) I love the way everyone tumbles in a spiral in some featureless void. Read the chat (lower-left corner) too.

Just imagine coming around a city corner one day and suddenly getting this. World server down, dude.
