How to Use "Find Album Artwork" - A Visual Guide

First, you need to download and install the scripts. Put them in ~/Library/iTunes/Scripts. (The ~ symbolizes your home directory.) If the Scripts directory does not exist, just create it!

Step 1 Image

Next, go into iTunes and select the first track of the album you wish to apply artwork to. Make sure you have sorted your music by Album by clicking the "Album" column name in iTunes.

Step 2 Image

Hold down the Shift key and click the last track of the album you wish to apply artwork to. This will select all tracks in the album.

Step 3 Image

Go into iTunes script menu and, if you installed the script correctly, you will see Find Album Artwork there. Select it!

Step 4 Image

Your web browser will automatically open to an image search based off the artist and album name of the first track you selected. If this didn't work, just go ahead and type in the correct search string.

Step 5 Image

Click the image you want to use and you will be taken to the page the image is on. Click the See full-size image link to view the full size image alone in the browser.

Step 6 Image

Move your browser window to the side so you can see both the album artwork image and iTunes in the background.

Step 7 Image

Drag and drop your album artwork into the album artwork image well in iTunes to apply the artwork to the selected iTunes tracks. If you do not see the image well, click the button to the right of the repeat button in the lower left-hand corner of the iTunes window to show it. It may also be that the artwork for the currently playing song is showing and not the selected song. If this is the case, click inside the image well where it says Now Playing to change it to Selected Song.

Step 8 Image

After you let-go of the image, you will see progress dialog box. Your artwork is now being saved to the selected tracks. That's all there is to it!
