1:1 scale model

Created in july 1988 by White House (a japanese custom motorcycle shop).
It was built on order from Streamline Pictures, Kodansha and the AKIRA Committee for to use it as a promotional item for the movie's opening in summer 1988.
This model is non-functional and haven't got motor or drive-train, the only parts that actually work are the headlights, monitor (which has a VCR) and speedometer which gauges voltage, battery power and speed.
