Hans-Joachim Maier.
This bike was designed by Hans-Joachim Maier, seen standing by his creation in 1987. It was produced as his degree project at the Pforzheim Fachhochschule (Professional school of Pforzheim) and was hoped to land him a job with BMW. Although the company showed great interest in the project, Maier finally ended up as designer with Mercedes Benz. He still produces radical one-off bikes in his spare time though.

Cette moto a été conçu par Hans-joachim Maier, on le voit se tenant à côté de sa création en 1987. Elle a été produite en tant que projet d'étude lorsuq'il était à l'École technique supérieure de Pforzheim (Pforzheim Fachhochschule) et espérait pouvoir décrocher un travail chez BMW. Bien que la compagnie ait montré un grand intérêt pour le projet, Maier fini finalement par obtenir un poste de designer chez Mercedes Benz. Il produit toujours des motos radicalements uniques pendant son temps libre.
